MSU/CANR 2021 CALL for SCHOLARSHIPS
This is the time of year that the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources issues the Call for Scholarships including the LAANRC Endowed Scholarship. The call was announced on February 10; applications are due on March 10. Interested students use an online process to submit an application and essay.
 
Our CANR contacts are encouraging us to promote the Call for Scholarships to MSU students. Their goal is to expand the applicant pool. The "call" has been sent to all CANR students.
 
Eligibility criteria for the club's scholarship include
--junior status or above
--leadership experiences and capabilities
--communication abilities
--academic success

CANR KEYNOTE: TRUST IN SCIENCE ... CARY FUNK, PH.D., PEW RESEARCH CENTER
MARCH 26 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM | ONLINE ... This keynote presentation kicks-off a year-long theme where CANR will explore the public trust in science and science advice.


SEEDS OF RESISTANCE
Exhibit at the MSU Broad Art Museum, January 15 - July 18. The protection of our planet's biodiversity is one of the most pressing concerns facing human society today. Seeds of Resistance responds to these growing concerns by drawing attention to the long history of plant and human co-evolution and interdependence.
